Why do we need you to submit proof of income? If you pre qualified for an income driven program, the government has based your monthly payment on your family size and income. We need to show the Dept of Education (DOE) that the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) that you quoted us is accurate, the only way to do this is to supply the DOE with a copy of income so they can verify. Please note, if you are enrolling into the Standard or Graduated consolidation program, you do not need to supply any proof of income, your payment is not based on your income.
